SLAA needs its own vehicle to provide flexible and accessible community-led solutions. This is in response to unmet local transport needs, and often represents the only means of transport for many vulnerable and isolated people, often older people or people with disabilities.
It is also required to ease the burden from parents and saving them the cost of transporting their kids to and from attending mentorship programs and other learning opportunities.
Enable the movement of community members to participate in organised events various parts of the province with greater convenience and less cost.
A committee of certified mechanics and auto insurance brokers headed by Mr. James Johnson has been set up to manage this project.
