Socio-cultural and Religious Programmes

This SLAA plan, by its very title, is a composite venture which comprises various sub-projects and similar initiatives. Some of the activities it covers are seasonal and often recurring. Others, like births, marriages, bereavement, and invitations of SLAA by similar organizations, may be undertaken as the need arises.

SLAA undertakes various activities to facilitate and promote social interaction, cultural heritage, religious education, and the observance of Christian and Islamic events, in addition to the traditional celebration of Sierra Leone’s Independence anniversary.

The SLAA President said member families of SLAA have been calling for the association’s increased – and proactive – involvement in the promotion of traditional events which benefit children more directly.
